Sala Montujuïc

Sala Montjuïc is Barcelona’s beloved outdoor cinema festival, now celebrating over 20 years of summer screenings
From late June to early August 2025, it’s staging film nights at the historic Tres Xemeneies in Sant Adrià del Besòs. Each screening is prefaced by live music and complemented with food offerings, creating a vibrant cultural and social gathering under the stars.

The project.

This year, I earned a Certificate in Cultural Project Management. As part of the program, I collaborated for several weeks with MODIband, the team behind stunning outdoor and children’s author film projects.

Currently, I’m contributing my expertise to Sala Montjuïc, which this year is transforming the iconic Tres Xemeneies in Sant Adrià del Besòs into an open-air cinema under the stars.

At MODIband’s communications department, I handle a variety of responsibilities:

• Crafting and distributing press releases

• Designing and curating social media content

• Coordinating sponsorship collaborations

• Assisting with the promotion strategy for the festival

• Managing external partnerships and media outreach

Reconnecting with cinema feels natural: I studied Audiovisual Communication and hold a Master’s in Film and Audiovisual Studies. I’m thrilled to blend my academic background, professional experience, and passion for culture and film.

I’m happy to continue working in communication, but now with a renewed focus — closer to the cultural realm and aligned with what truly inspires me.
