Mi Primer Festival de cine
Mi Primer Festival is an international children’s film festival for kids aged 2 to 12, proudly co-hosted in both Barcelona and Madrid. Organized by the cultural association MODIband since 2008, the festival offers a rich selection of over 100 short and feature‑length films, along with interactive activities like workshops, film‑forums, and children’s juries.
The project.
This year, I earned a Certificate in Cultural Project Management. As part of the program, I collaborated for several weeks with MODIband, the team behind stunning outdoor and children’s author film projects.
Currently, I’m contributing my expertise to Mi Primer Festival, this beautiful initiative that introduces independent cinema to younger audiences.
At MODIband’s communications department, I handle a variety of responsibilities:

Crafting and distributing press releases

Designing and curating social media content

Coordinating sponsorship collaborations

Assisting with the promotion strategy for the festival

Managing external partnerships and media outreach
Reconnecting with cinema feels natural: I studied Audiovisual Communication and hold a Master’s in Film and Audiovisual Studies. I’m thrilled to blend my academic background, professional experience, and passion for culture and film.
I’m happy to continue working in communication, but now with a renewed focus — closer to the cultural realm and aligned with what truly inspires me.
